Community Employment Lead–Full-time position responsible for the job development and ongoing promotion of the Community Employment Services program and its participants. Applicant would be ambitious, flexible, and self-motivated in a highly involved position where one actively pursues opportunities to educate and introduce others to the vocational rehabilitation program, while creating working connections. Schedule can be flexible at times. Must be willing to travel between Jay and Randolph County with a valid driver’s license, using a company vehicle. Position also would perform duties of an Employment Specialist and become certified as a BIN specialist. Bachelor’s degree preferred plus a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in related field in employment services or Vocational Rehabilitation. The starting rate for this position will be $18.00/hr. with an increase after successfully completing the 90-day probationary period. Must pass drug screen paid by JRDS and have 2-step TB testing. Full-time and part-time staff receives paid-days off benefit and paid holidays. Staff scheduled for 30+ hours/week are eligible for insurance benefits the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
Community Employment Specialist–Full-time position responsible for the assigned caseload of Employment Services program participants. The Employment Specialist assists participants with choosing, preparing for, obtaining and maintaining employment long term. Schedule can be flexible at times. Must be willing to travel between Jay and Randolph County with a valid driver’s license, using a company vehicle. Bachelor’s degree preferred plus a minimum of one year of full-time work experience in related fields in employment services or Vocational Rehabilitation. The starting rate for this position will be $15.00/hr. with an increase after successfully completing the 90-day probationary period.
Substitutes - Needed in all program areas in both Portland and Winchester - make some extra money by working on-call as needed in waiver and residential home settings, day programs, etc. Current rate is $14.00/hour with wage increase upon completion of 90-day probationary period.
DSP- Full and Part time positions, 2nd, and 3rd shift openings, Team members will provide comprehensive supervision, training, and assistance in the areas of daily living skills and/or community integration. Starting rate is $14.00/hr. with wage increase upon completion of 90-day probationary period.
**Accredited high school diploma or HSE is preferred for Direct Care positions. Must pass drug screen paid by JRDS and have 2-step TB testing.
